Denmark (6 – 9th August)

Crossing Denmark from Sweden to Germany was an essential part of our route, and allowed us to see our Iain and his Katrine in Ollerup, and her parents and grandparents in Ebberup, both in South Fyn. We also had a trip with Katrine to the island of Ærø, a place we would like to see again someday.

Margarethe Sø

This is a collection of small lakes in the southern part of Jutland near Grasten. Highlights here were butterflies feeding on fallen fruit and a hunting kingfisher.
