We arrived in England and left the same day, but did lots on the way.
First: Getting off the ferry, which took hours because the port of Hull does not provide a gangplank for upper decks, and we had to wait till lower decks (trucks, mainly) disembarked. Then long waits for passport control. We were one day under the 90 day limit for non-Schengen countries.
Then: Fuel and gas. Bridlington could not help with the gas, and neither could anywhere else until we got back to Kyle of Lochalsh. They sell the gas, just not in our size.

The main destination in England was the seabird colony at Bempton Cliffs on the coast of Yorkshire. Here we saw gannets and kittiwakes in great numbers. It was a first class visit, a real spectacle.
We also visited my aunt and uncle in Tees-side and drove on, crossing at Carter Bar back into Scotland.
